The mission of the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce is to create and maintain a favorable business climate in the community.

The Midwest City Chamber of Commerce promotes and markets local businesses through:

-The Chamber’s Business Information and Referral Center
-Placing promotional materials at Oklahoma Welcome Centers
-Networking events
-The Chamber Resource Guide
-Local promotions and events

The Midwest City Chamber of Commerce works to maintain a strong local quality of life through:

-Hosting annual Picnic with Protectors event to allow the citizens to get to know and recognize our community’s emergency personnel
-Actively participating in the Tinker Air Force Base Quarterly Awards Program
-The Navy’s TACAMO “Make A Difference” Award Program
-Participation in briefings, receptions and tours designed to create a greater awareness of the role and mission of Tinker Air Force Base
-Youth Excel and Leadership Midwest City programs (leadership programs for youth and adults)
-Conducting legislative briefings, public forums, and meetings with local, state and national elected officials
-Co-hosts an annual Celebrating Education program
-Sponsorship of community events including the Veterans Day Parade

-Hosts annual S.A.S.S.E.E. Women’s Luncheon focusing on topics such as Safety, Awareness, Self-defense, Security, Education, and Empowerment

-Hosts Tinker and the Primes International Business Conference which is a national aerospace and defense business opportunity event conducted in collaboration with and in support of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma Defense Installations, Government Agencies, and Prime Contractors and Suppliers.
